DEBAMED® Flexible Bio-Box
DEBAMED® Flexible Bio-Box is a kit consisting of secondary packaging (a bag) and outer packaging (a box). It is suitable for transporting category A and B samples of biological substances, including under temperature-controlled conditions. Certified in compliance with packaging instructions P650 (UN3373) and P620 (UN2814 or UN2900). The rigid part of the Bio-Box complies with regulations for the carriage of dangerous goods, and is approved by the New Zealand’s civil and aviation authorities as compliant with ADR and IATA standards. As such, the product can be used for carriage by air, and the secondary packaging can withstand pressure of up to 95 kPa.

It is used for transporting category B (UN3373) samples of biological substances in compliance with the international and European Guidance on regulations for the transport of infectious substances (ADR – IATA – WHO). The D-Pak is suitable for sending samples at room temperature or for cold chain deliveries (chilled or frozen).

It is suitable for transporting samples of category A and B biological substances, including under temperature-controlled conditions and for journeys of long duration. Because the product does not use dry ice for the cooling process, it is not classified as hazardous for aviation purposes. This helps to cut costs considerably.
